When your day starts with offers of unlimited bacon sandwiches and coffee, it’s going to be a good day! 2016 has been a pretty hectic year and I couldn’t have wished for a better way to sign off than this. Sam, Adam, their friends and family were an absolute joy to spend the day with and their beautiful winter Lartington Hall wedding suited them perfectly – friendly, relaxed, stylish and with loads of laughs.
There were some lovely moments even before the wedding, with Sam and Adam exchanging surprise gifts. Adam scoring a very cool watch and I think it's fair to say that Sam was pretty pleased with her gift of a pair of shoes that she’d been fantasising about for a while. The best men even received ‘hangover kits’ – genius!
Lartington Hall was all decked out for Christmas and this only served to add to the feel-good factor on the big day! One look at their whopper of a Christmas tree in the grand entrance hall and it was festive vibes all round!
Sam was stylishly prepared for the cold by wearing the most stunning, brilliant white cape. Like something from a Disney movie – a theme that was deftly woven into the day. Sam is such a huge fan of everything Disney and Adam, being the technical whizz that he is, created the most wonderful surprise slideshow featuring a montage of various Disney movies, receiving a rapturous round of applause when the lights went back up!
The night was rounded off with music from the enormously brilliant Redwings band accompanied by some awesome dance floor action!
